Chandrashekhar Iyer has over two decades of experience working in leadership roles in global companies like Google, DBS Bank, Standard Chartered and PWC. A passionate leader with an entrepreneurial mindset, Chandra has successfully led teams to build scalable and profitable businesses

Before joining Davinta, Chandra was head of Merchant Financial Services at GPay, India where he led his team to collaborate with banks and financial institutions to offer reliable and scalable payment and settlement systems to merchants. He helped ideated, strategise, and launch digital merchant credit product for long tail merchants in India. His team was also responsible for partnering with telecom companies, payment aggregators, and other ecosystem players to scale and monetise digital phone recharge, bill payments and other recurring payments.

An entrepreneur at heart, Chandra was also the co-founder of AppZuri - a B2B2C marketplace for the beauty and wellness market in India. He was involved in building core capabilities across identifying scalable business models and revenue streams and harnessing digital capabilities to set-up and scale operations. He also invested and supported start-ups in the Insuretech, Fintech and Foodtech space.

At DBS Bank, Chandra spent over a decade rising to SVP and Head of Corporate and Investment banking where he managed the business for the bank in South India covering Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana & Kerala. In this stint he and his team developed strong and long-term relationships with companies at CXO level. He mentored and led a regional team of 100+ across Corporate, SME, Retail Banking, Operations. In his earlier stints at the bank he played a key role to build the corporate structuring and sales in India. He was also responsible in setting-up this business for the bank in south India where he successfully on-boarded and managed several large local and multinational companies.

At Standard Chartered Bank, he was identified to undergo an intensive training program treasury and markets. He then worked in vanilla and derivatives FX and interest rate advisory and sales to manage FX and interest rate risks for several companies.

He started his professional career at Price Waterhouse Coopers where he worked on several attest and business advisory assignments with large Indian and multinational companies
